DESCRIPTION:\nApplications for the Quantum Talents Symposium will be open
until 1 July 2026. Apply here!\n\nJoin us at Quantum Talents Symposium Mun
ich – an Innovation Hub where talent meets opportunities.\nThe symposium
is jointly organized by several organizations of the Munich quantum ecosy
stem: \n\nMunich Center for Quantum Science and Technology (MCQST)\,\nMuni
ch Quantum Valley (MQV)\,\nInternational Max Planck Research School for Qu
antum Science and Technology (IMPRS-QST)\n\nThe event is designed as a pla
tform for showcasing groundbreaking research in quantum science and techno
logy\, and for scientific exchange among talented early-career quantum res
earchers. The program now also includes a research stay for the finalists
as well as the two-day symposium. \nOur mission is to facilitate knowledge
sharing\, inspire collaboration\, and promote career opportunities in qua
ntum science\, with a strong commitment to diversity and inclusivity.\nQua
ntum Talents Program:\n\nSymposium with two days of conference\nResearch s
tay of three days after the symposium\nInvited scientific talks by finalis
ts \nFlash talks from Munich quantum community\nConference Dinner on Octo
 ber 27\nPoster session\nLabtours and meetings\nOpportunity for prizes\n\n
\nCall for Applications - Eligibility:\nWe invite applications from outs
tanding and driven early-career researchers who work in the field of quant
um science and technology to be awarded special recognition as a symposium
finalist. Specifically\, we invite:\n\nPhD students in their 3rd year and
above\,\nPostdocs with up to two years of experience.\n\nApplicants must
demonstrate their contribution to the field with at least one first-author
  publication in a peer-reviewed journal (physics\, chemistry\, mathematics
) OR published contributions in top-tier conferences with full papers in t
he field (computer science\, engineering).\nSelection Criteria for Finalis
ts:Selected applicants will be invited to give a talk at the symposium as
well as a three-day research stay with a Munich group of their choice\, an
d will receive support for their travel & accommodation costs. \nOur selec
tion process prioritizes academic excellence and exceptional research pote
ntial. Finalists will be selected on three key criteria: scientific excell
ence\, scientific vision\, and commitment to diversity in quantum research
. \nAll other applicants will be invited to attend as a participant\, at t
heir own arrangement and expense\, and given the opportunity to present a
poster.\nAttending the symposium: \nInterested members of the quantum comm
unity\, including MCQST\, MQV and IMPRS\, are invited to attend the Sympos
